Sweet Lips

I went to this "industry" party with a friend during the B.E.T awards weekend and while I was doing what I do best...EATING.....and people friend noticed and pointed out a girls "interesting lip". At first glance the color on HER seemed “off” but on second glance I realized she had designs on her lips. So now, I'm slightly puzzled even more interested!!!  I had to chat with her and see those lips up close. I will admit, initially, I gave her a slight side eye...but then, up close… I thought,  wow -this is actually pretty dope!

OK, so what was on her lips? The line is called ... "VIOLENT LIPS" (tattoo for your lips) Here are some of my favorites from their collection.

For more designs check out their site HERE

Not to shabby if you ask me!! I like!

Another style that's  making its ways to ladies lips is Minx. It last 8hrs, gloss is not required and you can remove with baby wipes.

You can  purchase Glizty Lips on their website by clicking  HERE
Pretty interesting...If worn the right way I think this could add some "UMPH" to a persons overall look .

Another collection of lipstick you ladies may want to check out is Ka'Oir by  Keyshia Dior.
You may recognize the models  face from  magazines and  hip-hop videos. Her collection has a plethora of colors that are bright and vibrant. Here are a few colors from her WEBSITE

Rude Girl

What do you guys think? I'm all for something different and fun! I will most defiantly be trying one or all three of these lip lines out...Stay posted...Which ones did  you like?

He is so Fresh... Super Fresh

If you're ever in downtown Los Angeles, near the fashion district and  you so happen to see a guy with tatted sleeves, tats on his neck, possibly some chucks on, with a cap flipped up that says "Superfresh" or "Fresh" then that's my friend Not only is he a dear and close friend of mine but he is most defiantly one of those special people in my life. I'm excited to blog about him because he is one of the FEW people who inspires me to be Great. Not only is he talented, creative, hardworking, and a passionate designer and entrepreneur ..He is a true sweetheart, and one of the most respectful guy's I have ever met in my entire life!  I'm so serious..But,  I have never met anyone on this planet like him. He is a rare jewel.

So what is so special about him other than the things I have mentioned above? Well, Lamar has been in the fashion game for quite some time now...and  excitingly enough his 2nd line called "Super Fresh" is doing quite well.  He has a collection of ladies  T- Shirts and accessories that are sold exclusively at Hot Topic stores...AND he also has another collection of  Super Fresh T-Shirts and Accessories for both men and woman sold on his site.  Click Super Fresh.

In Hot Topic trying on my SuperFresh Tee! Photography by LaMar himself ;)

So this is how it works when you shop from Super Fresh (words straight from his website)
"Each Item goes up for sale every other Monday. Once it sells out, or after 2 weeks, whichever comes first, that item will be gone. And when we say, "gone", we mean G-O-N-E - never to be sold again at Supefresh.(unless maybe a crazy crazy.. CRAZY demand for it presents itself). And even then it wouldn't be a guarantee"

Now, remember when I mentioned earlier how creative he is? Well peep this.. LaMars T-shirts are shipped and delivered in meat packages with a sticker that reads SUPERFRESH!  Did you get that?? lol...WAIT!!!.......Give me a'm Putting up my hand to give him another high - five (as if he is here to give me one back) I mean Really!!!....Who would to think to do that?  Its out of the box, and the concept is beyond dope.

I'm one of those people who love to see people THRIVE...but its extra special and super duper  exciting when its your Friend!

One of my favorite pictures EVER...LaMar Came through 2show me some Love on my Birthday last year
LaMar usually has about ten ideas and concepts running in his head and oddly enough everything typically makes sense...and is always over the top creative.. . I'm looking fwd to seeing all those ideas in his head play out. Super Fresh  is just a TINY  piece of what will become of him in the future... mark my words on this one. ;)

In My Gwen Stefani voice.....

"It's Bananas .....B-A-N-A-N-A-S"!!  I'm singing about Fendi's 2011 Spring/Summer shades...THEEEEEE hottest shades EVER! I don't want a pair of these in my life, I NEED a pair badly! I'm talking "Michael Jackson - BAD"! The word says  "Ye have not, because Ye ask not" -Matthew 7:7-12...SO, with that being said My Birthday is September 20th, if anyone really wants to make my day and purchase these Fendi shades for me then please feel free to do so. The shape + the colors+ the overall concept = these are THE END

Fendi 2011 S/S Sunglasses

I'm raving about those Fendi shades but my MOST  favorite style when it comes to  sunglasses is AVIATORS!!! The brand that is on the top of my list who creates dope aviators is...CARRERA.  No matter how much I try to rock a pair of my other shades..I end up (most times) switching to my Carrera's. I love them that much!  YUP!

Here are some style that I like from Carrera
Easy- Gold White Gold

Endurance/l - Havanna Gold
Forever Mine - Fuchsia Silver Palladium

You Men Often Confuse....

a woman COMMUNICATING with Combativeness/Complaining.  Yeah! It's true!  As soon as a woman opens her mouth to convey a disappointment or something that has upset her  ...It's an automatic "you just trying to argue, or start a fight", OR we get hit with the "you're always complaining" response. I cannot count how many conversations I've had with girlfriends in which  they have expressed to me,or I to them, how frustrating it can be when we try to voice what we are feeling to our partner. ....In fact, I think men do not believe that women also find arguing exhausting! It's draining and time consuming just as much for us as it is for you.....So it irks me and I'm sure other  women to the core when men automatically assume we are complaining or wanting to fight when its quite the opposite.

With that being said.....I wanted to offer some clarification to the male species...Let me be clear.....When most women have an issue with her partner she brings it to his attention... NOT to be combative, but to express what she is feeling. Her purpose is to encourage some dialogue, find a resolution and move on. Period! Personally, I  will let something "ride" the first time (contingent upon the magnitude of it, of course).... the second time I'm going to COMMUNICATE and bring whatever is is to you  that has upset me to your attention....AFTER, it has been  brought to your attention I'm going to give you the opportunity to Which means Respond to what I expressed to you, Act on it ( meaning fix/correct it), or let you,or I make the decision to Move on... if there is no willingness or desire to talk out issues then its really a sign to press forward because quite frankly nothing productive or fruitful is coming from any relationship that lacks communication.

Male or Female...I find it unfair when people hold back their feelings with their partner, solely, because you are not giving them an opportunity to fix/make adjustments to whatever it is that is bugging you. If you do not take the time to talk about whats hurting/bothering you  then you are not "allowed" to go bizerk on a person because you've reached your  limit with them.  In my "professional" You are wrong! NOT the recipient of your explosion! You failed to COMMUNICATE your "limit", your expectations, needs, wants,..and THAT, revokes your pass to go - off.

On the FLIP SIDE to this message.....I will add .....A response to everything is not always required. Sometimes, its better to just listen to what the other person has to say.... THEN, come back later with a response IF necessary. Most importantly ..chose your battles, and chose them wisely. Some things are just not worth going through WWII over.

I will conclude by saying this.. I'm more than aware of the fact that, there ARE woman out there who love to argue, and who lack effective communication skills....So I say to the women....If you are hooping and hollering and being combative with him, how do you expect to resolve anything, or even expect him to internalize what you are trying to get across to him? MEN, Do Not always assume she is trying to pick a fight when she is being vocal about what she is feeling...she  just wants to be heard, work through it and move on.  I strongly believe that Communication has proven and still proves to be beneficial, and  if executed properly it can do amazing things in ANY type of relationship.
